My #newblogpost will capture your heart if you #love #cats or their owners. (Me, for instance.) Or if you like to make fun of #petowners. Or you just like a good #story told well (she said, humbly).
What if you come to the realization that Jesus is the Son of God who died to take away your sins just moments before you die? What then? Doesn't the Bible says that "faith without works is dead"? That's what a friend asked me after reading a post about my brother who came to faith at the end of his life. Here's my reasoning condensed in slides. The full story is in my blog, link in my bio. #allthingsworktogether #allthingsworktogetherforgood #Jesussaves #Jesus #salvation #faith #newblogpost #Christian #flourishwriters #flourishwritersacademy
In His #parables, #Jesus wasn’t just a shepherd searching for lost sheep. He also was a host filling seats at his table. Why? He’d made a feast and didn’t want it to go to waste. Is what you’re sharing worthy of consumption? Then seek to fill your table! I'm willing to write for the one -- and that one and another one over there. But I can't subscribe to the "if I write it, they will come" mentality. If God puts a message on my heart, then I've got to shout it from the rooftops. Or Instagram. Get the full story in my latest blog post in my bio. #writinglife #marketing #goodnews #newblogpost #allthingsworktogether #allthingsworktogetherforgood #christian #writer #flourishwriters #flourishwritersacademy #faith
My first time as a guest on a podcast (and my first time ON a podcast)! @MindyKiker of @flourishwriters interviewed me as part of the #emergingwriters series. I got to share my story (yay!) and talk about how God has used #writing in my life. #Lovestory
Instead of following your heart, lead it in the right direction. If you're at odds with someone you once loved, act in love anyway. You don't know how much time you have to restore the relationship. I share my story in my #newblogpost at #allthingsworktogether. (Link in my bio.)
My brother Scott was small in stature but larger than life. He left this earth a year ago, but not before I had the opportunity to spend quality time with him. God's timing -- and that gift of time -- was perfect. When so many were losing so much in 2020, I lost -- but gained forever -- my brother. Link to my #newblogpost in my bio.

(When you're not great at shooting selfies while driving, transform them into sketches.... ) While I did ask my son how I looked before I left for my first day on the job, I didn't think about shooting a photo -- until I reached my first STOP sign. I look more happy than anxious. :)

So it poured rain the day of commencement, which meant it was a bad hair day. But it was a great day with my new, old friends anyway!
