A fun #ThrowbackThursday post from 2013. I am an early riser, and a courteous one, sharing a hotel room with a colleague just after Daylight Saving Time began. In this post, I allude to Poe's "The Raven" as I was tapping, tapping by my chamber door. Enjoy my struggle with being an "old fogey" too young. Funny. http://ow.ly/tGjp30rvBA7 #writing
Ever feel as if you're offering your heart on a platter through writing or other talents? It's worse -- more like offering your heart in a glass at a wine-tasting. But it's not all bad. http://ow.ly/NTyr30rvfu2 #writinglife #Christianity #growth
I thought the "we" was a typo. Except it was handwritten -- in my journal. I was conversing with God, who was reminding me that while He calls the "tired and heavy laden" it's to give them His yoke. A yoke intended for labor, yes? But there's room for two. I don't labor alone.

(When you're not great at shooting selfies while driving, transform them into sketches.... ) While I did ask my son how I looked before I left for my first day on the job, I didn't think about shooting a photo -- until I reached my first STOP sign. I look more happy than anxious. :)
